Closing the Digital Divide in South Shore

Despite broadband companies listing South Shore as "served," a significant digital gap exists in our community.

In Chicago as a whole, 83.5 percent of residents have access to the internet. However, in South Shore, only 75 percent of residents are connected.

Here at The Neighborhood Network Alliance (NNA), we are addressing that disparity.

Our mission is to ensure that all South Shore residents have access to affordable and quality internet, devices, and digital learning resources.

That's why we were thrilled to partner with other community leaders and government officials to host a laptop giveaway, where we raffled off 100 laptops to our community members.

Together, we can provide this essential utility to all of our neighbors.
