Join The NNA and NHS on January 14th, 2023 to learn more and REGISTER for the Illinois Emergency Homeowner Assistance Fund (ILHAF).
Illinois is now accepting applications from homeowners to receive up to $60,000 to eliminate or reduce past-due mortgage and property tax payments and assessments!
This program is dedicated to assisting homeowners who are at risk of default, foreclosure, or displacement as a result of financial hardship caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
-Homeowners with household incomes less than 150% of the Area Median Income.
-Homeowners who own and occupy their property as their primary residence.
-Homeowners who are at least 30 days late on their mortgage or property tax payments.
-Homeowners who have experienced a financial hardship directly related to COVID-19 that began continued, or worsened after January 21, 2020.
